General Description
The Business Innovator Certification body of knowledge and test has been established to promote innovation universally at all levels. It is our intent that you use the proficiency and knowledge gained through preparation or taking the test for a higher good, and cause no harm to anybody anyplace at anytime. If Business Innovator Certification determines or learns that the candidate or certified business innovator is engaged in unacceptable and unlawful activities, the registration or examination rights will be suspended without any advance notice and without any refund.
Acceptance of Terms
Business Innovator Certification welcomes you to our Business Innovator Certification system. Our Certification services are subject to the following terms of service, which may be updated without notice to you.
Cancellation Policy
We advise you to review the body of knowledge prior to registering for the Business Innovator Certification test. Once registered, there is no refund of your registration fee, and you are expected to complete the test in 90 days. In case you do not pass either part of the Business Innovator Certification tests in 90 days, you must restart the process for certification, including new registration.
In case of a medical emergency with unquestionable and documented evidence, you will be granted additional time for taking the Business Innovator Certification test.
Re-certification
The Business Innovator Certification is valid for three years from the date of successful completion. It is recommended that you register for recertification for the Business Innovator Certification well in advance of the expiration of your certification.
Description of Service
Business Innovator Certification provides the Business Innovator Certification through its Brinnovation™ website, which includes copyrighted test contents and other resources. The test consists of multiple choice and essay-type questions. You agree to accept Business Innovator Certification’s decision about evaluation of the multiple choice questions and essay questions. If you have serious concerns about the outcome of the test, you may request a review of the results by Business Innovator Certification. Business Innovator Certification’s decision, however, shall be final for multiple choice and essay-type questions.
You understand that the certification service is provided to help you achieve a certain level of proficiency that must be sustained through continued practice. Furthermore, you understand that all services provided by Business Innovator Certification through Brinnovation™ are subject to compliance to copyright protection of the test contents in both intent and actions. The Business Innovator Certification service is provided ‘as is.’ Business Innovator Certification has invested significant resources in developing the test; however, Business Innovator Certification assumes no responsibility for dissatisfaction with, or ineffectiveness of, the test. Once you register for the test, the fee is nonrefundable, and you are responsible for taking the Business Innovator Certification test using your own computer.
Your (Examinee) Obligations
In order to apply for Business Innovator Certification, you must make a personal commitment to being an innovative person, and practice innovative thinking and principles throughout your career. You must have no legal restriction imposed by any State or National/Federal Act anywhere. You must agree to provide required information accurately and completely in the registration process. If at any time, we find that your information is incomplete or inaccurate, and may have an adverse effect on the Business Innovator Certification, you agree to accept Business Innovator Certification’s right to denial of its certification service. If Business Innovator Certification denies its certification service to you for any reason, your registration fee will be refunded. However, if you are unable to pass the test, or if you give up after the initial attempt for any reason, your registration fee shall not be refunded.
You agree that you are at least 18 years of age at the time of registration for the Business Innovator Certification test. If you are below 18, your parents must contact Business Innovator Certification for registering you for the test.
Your Account and Password Security
You will receive a password and account designation upon registering for the Business Innovator Certification test. You understand and take full responsibility for protecting the account and password information, as well as any test taken in your account name. You understand that your account is entitled to one attempt to take the test. You may be allowed to retake the examination after re-registration and acceptance of the retake policy. Business Innovator Certification can not be held liable for missing the test due to loss or transfer of the account information.
Examinee Conduct
In no circumstances, you understand that you will not divulge Business Innovator Certification test contents to other people, including your family members, to ensure its integrity and effectiveness. You understand that any disclosure of the test content may cause economic harm to Business Innovator Certification, one’s fellow candidates or certified professionals. You may be held responsible for intentional or unintentional economic harm caused to Business Innovator Certification or/and one’s fellow candidates and certified innovation professionals.
The Business Innovator Certification test is an open book and open source test without anybody’s help directly or indirectly during the actual test. The test-taker will honor normally acceptable ethics and test-taking guidelines.
You agree to NOT do the following with Business Innovator Certification:
- Download, save, email, transmit, screen print or otherwise store or make available any content that may cause economic harm to Business Innovator Certification;
- Take the Business Innovator Certification test with anybody’s assistance in any form;
- Impersonate any person for registration or taking the test;
- Borrow or copy information from any prior examinee(s), or forge the information;
- Share or transmit or otherwise make available any Business Innovator Certification test content that you do not have a right to make available;
- Interfere with or disrupt the Service or servers or networks connected to the Service, or disobey any requirements, procedures, policies or regulations of networks connected to the Service;
You acknowledge that Business Innovator Certification does not pre-screen candidates for taking the Business Innovator Certification test. Therefore, it expected that you shall prepare for the test using recommended reading resources according to the body of knowledge. Business Innovator Certification has the unquestionable right to change the body of knowledge and test questions in order to keep up with the dynamic industry expectations for competency in innovation.
You understand that we do not plan to use your personal information for any other purpose besides the Business Innovation Certification test. You do consent and agree that Business Innovator Certification may access, preserve and disclose your account information and content if required to do so by law or in a good faith belief that such access preservation or disclosure is reasonably necessary to comply with laws and maintain the integrity of the test.
You understand that the Business Innovation Certification test or your information may be transmitted over multiple networks. Extensive processing on your computer or the network may cause service breakdown. In such cases, all the effort has been taken to preserve your contents. However, in the case of information loss, you agree to continue taking the test, or retake the test.
Non-disclosure Agreement
No part of the test may be shared, communicated or transmitted to anybody else at any time. Normal non-disclosure practices must be followed and the test information must be protected.
Business Innovator Certification owns your essay test contents, and thus you allow Business Innovator Certification to use your test responses as it may deem necessary without disclosing your personal information, and without any additional permission from you.
Suggestions or Questions Submitted for Inclusion in the Business Innovator Certification Test
You are welcome to make suggestions to add questions or modifications to the body of knowledge. You agree to allow Business Innovator Certification to incorporate any or all of the suggestions made by you with unlimited permission to do so. You agree to disclaim any ownership to your suggestions or content included in the test at any time.
Indemnity
You agree to indemnify and hold Business Innovator Certification and its officers, employees, affiliates, agents, partners and licensors harmless from any claim or demand, including reasonable attorneys' fees, made by any third party due to or arising out of the Business Innovator Certification test.
Changes in the Business Innovator Certification Testing Service
Business Innovator Certification reserves the right at any time to change, upgrade, or discontinue its service without notice. You agree not to hold Business Innovator Certification liable for any impact on you.
Termination
Upon completion of the Business Innovator Certification test, your account will be disabled; thus your ability to retake the test will be disabled. Your account will be active until you complete the entire test up to 90 days after registration. You must take the test within 90 days after registration. If the Brinnovation website is down more than 24 contiguous hours, or you experience significant intermittent interruptions, your account will be extended accordingly.
Resource Links
The Brinnovation Website provides internal and external resources to help you learn about innovation, and prepare for the Business Innovator Certification test. However, Business Innovator Certification will not be responsible for availability of contents on the resource links. You are still responsible to learn and prepare for the test with or without the links.
Business Innovator Certification’s Proprietary Rights
You acknowledge and agree that the Business Innovator Certification test contains proprietary and confidential information that is protected by applicable intellectual property and other laws. You agree not to divulge test-related information that will have an adverse impact on the credibility of the test, integrity of the testing system, and economic effect on Business Innovator Certification organization.
Business Innovator Certification grants you a personal, non-transferable and non-exclusive right and license to use the Business Innovator Certification related service. As such, you may not allow a third party to copy, share, transmit, or create a derivative work.
Disclaimer - Business Innovator Certification Test
You expressly understand and agree that:

Business Innovator Certification, its partners and its employees will not be responsible for any loss of information, waste of time, perceived value, or consequential damages due to the Business Innovator Certification test.
Business Innovator Certification, anyone associated with Business Innovator Certification, or any entity associated with Business Innovator Certification do not make any warranty about its service, your satisfaction, and uninterrupted, timely and error-free availability; the resulting certification or its market value; the quality of the test and related information; other referenced or available material associated with the test; or remedy of any errors detected.
Any referenced or relevant material downloaded or obtained otherwise is accessed at your own risk, and you will be responsible for any consequential effects on your computer, including any hardware, software or data damage or loss.
Limitation of Liability
Where applicable in various jurisdictions, YOU EXPRESSLY UNDERSTAND AND AGREE THAT under no circumstances are Business Innovator Certification and its associated organizations and individuals liable for any damages, including but not limited to loss of goodwill or other intangible losses to you or any third party.
General Information
The above agreement governs the use of the Business Innovator Certification service. Additional terms and conditions covered in other places on the website may apply to you as well.
The above agreement shall be governed by the laws of the State of Illinois, USA
Unintended Waiver – Lack of enforcement of the above agreement does not constitute a waiver of such right and provision.
Statute of Limitations
You agree that any claim arising out of using Business Innovator Certification services must be filed within one (1) year, after such claim or cause of action arose or be forever barred
