12.How often do I need to recertify?

The Business Innovator Certification is valid for three years from the date of successful completion of the test. You are recommended to start the process of recertification well in advance (at least four months before the expiration of the existing certificate).

Both the Business Innovator Certification body of knowledge and test have been established to promote innovation universally at all levels. Once you register, there is no refund of your registration fee, and you are expected to complete the test in 90 days. The Business Innovator Certification test is conducted on-line in the prescribed order. A potential candidate first registers ($395) for taking the certification test; then he/she will receive the login information.² Each registered candidate is required to take the test only once within the 90 days from the date of registration. 25.What kind of format does the Business Innovator Certification Test follow?

Part I:  Multiple Choice Single Correct Answer Questions. A total of 75 questions are to be answered in 90 minutes.

Part II: Shall have some short essay- type questions; the test-taker needs to complete the tables and similar formats in 90 minutes. There shall be no negative marking for wrong answers.

The Business Innovator Certification test is an open book and open source test without anybody’s help directly or indirectly during the test. It is expected that you will honor normally acceptable ethics and test-taking guidelines.

27.Can I see the answers to the questions after completing my Business Innovator Certification test?

Immediately after completing Part I of the test, you can see the questions and your answers, correct answers, start time and end time. You will not be able to see the details of the test after navigating to some other page.

28.What are the passing marks for the Business Innovator Certification test?

After taking the test successfully (70% passing score), the Business Innovator Certificate will be issued and is valid for three years.

29.How long does it take for my Business Innovator Certificate to arrive?

After you successfully complete the test, you will receive a certificate within 3-4 weeks from the date of successful completion.

30.How can I prove to my employer that I appeared for the Business Innovator Certification Test?

Upon successful completion of the certificate, the user will provide a link to view your score (this is only for the multiple choice test part-I). Regarding part-II (essay-type exam), the results will be intimated through email and final evaluation certification will be mailed to the address provided during registration.
